Happy Friday to you!  I've been out and walked 4 miles already; when I started it was cool, but by the time my friend and I got back it was heating up.  After my friend left, I chatted with another neighbor and now just having an iced coffee. I'm waiting for my daughter to arrive to drop off her dog for the weekend. I love having family that you can trade dog sitting with-makes life so much easier. Both families are camping together this weekend; we were supposed to have two other dogs as well, but with Copper being so young yet and not being able to take her to the lake near the campground for the day tomorrow, Carrie decided to board their two.  I really didn't like that idea, but  there could be times when we aren't here and they need to board the dogs.  We don't have plans for today, but tomorrow will go hang out with the family.  Today I will spend at the sewing machine putting squares together with the second quilt I started in Sister's.  My wall hanging is all pinned and ready for quilting; I want to get the second quilt done and pinned as well.  Once football starts I love having a quilt to work on.
I also have Christmas presents I will need to begin.
I hope you have a great day and weekend.
Joy to you!

  1. Way to go girl! It does make it easier when the pets don't have to go to the kennel. Our daughter living here has helped us to be able to travel more. Have a blessed weekend.

  4. What a good Mother, I don't dog sit. :o)) I've just never liked dogs inside but that's just my preference. You will have to show us your handiwork when you finish. I have such admiration for quilters. Thanks for your sweet comments about our guest suite. We are really glad that we decided to add it on.
