Good morning. Although it is outdoor Wednesday, with our high winds I don't think I'll be outside much. The winds are worse than yesterday and our outside blind actually blew down. I'm not sure what I'll be doing today, except that I'm volunteering at Operation Christmas Child today from 4:00-6:00; it should be fun.
I hope you stay warm!

  5. The wind was incredible today. I like facing the bitter wind and daring it to try to blow me down :) Then, suddenly, it just stopped late this afternoon. The quiet was wonderful!!!

I hope you had a great day!

  7. I guess the same storm from the Gulf of Alaska has battered you in CO! The winds came through here Tuesday night, and we lost power. The power companies around here suffered the greatest power outages ever in their history and several people have died or been hurt from trees falling on them. The power of the wind is crazy! Thankfully we only had one tree down, and our power was restored the same night it went off. So thankful for that! So many are being told they won't have power for several days, and we are now getting a cold front adding to the misery for those without power.

Hope you have a wonderful day today volunteering and that the winds subside! :)

  8. We get really bad winds and some days you just need to stay in the house. How nice of you to work with Operation Christmas Child. Great organization!
